Ongoing In-service Training

Granite State College - GSC offers both certificate and college credit courses. Caregiver ongoing training is cost-free and available to New Hampshire Foster and Adoptive Parents, Residential Childcare Staff, Designated Private Agency Staff and Staff of the Division for Children, Youth and Families.

Foster Parent Community - This web site offers online training, followed by a questionnaire and a certificate of completion (please verify the eligibility of this training program with your agency)

Foster Parents Training Program - This website is hosted by Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. It features web cast archives on various foster parenting subjects. A free download, RealPlayer 8 Basic is needed to access the web casts. (please verify the eligibility of this training program with your agency)

Foster Parent Training - Over 50 hours offered of online training for foster parent licensing/re-licensing. Auto track and logging of trainings taken. (requires membership fee)

NH State Library Family Resource Connection - a special program providing information and materials about all aspects of raising, caring for and educating children.
UNH Continuing Education - Offers both credited and non-credited courses. Non-credited courses reasonably priced!
